5 Day Toubkal Trip

Toubkal overview

Standing at 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa and the crown of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. Accessible enough for fit trekkers with no technical climbing experience, yet wild and dramatic enough to feel like a genuine expedition, it’s one of the most rewarding mountain experiences on the planet.

The route takes you through spectacular High Atlas scenery, from the traditional Berber village of Imlil past ancient mule trails, high mountain refuges, and sweeping ridgelines before the final push to the summit.

At Vertex Expeditions, every trek is fully guided by experienced local mountain guides who know the mountains inside out, ensuring a personal and high-quality experience from start to finish. Whether you’re looking for a fast summit push or a more gradual ascent with time to acclimatise, we have an option to suit you.

Standing on the roof of North Africa is something you won’t forget.
